Our set up is a Psychiatric Department in a General Hospital setting. Lagos State General Hospital is located right in the city of Lagos. It has it's catchments area in the whole of Lagos Island and in fact the entire Lagos State of Nigeria with a population of fifteen (15) million. Our complement of staff is made of one consultant psychiatrist. We run a good out patient clinic and facility for selective cases for admission into a General ward. We have facilities for Psychotherapy, General psychiatry-with bias for organic brain syndrome. Besides, we see referred cases from Lagos Island Maternity Hospital and Massey children Hospital Lagos.
The Department clinic runs from Monday-Friday as follows:
